How do I join the best gun club in Albuquerque?
Go to the New Member page on our main web site.
An overview of the process is described below:
- Eligibility requirements to join Zia:
- Legal resident of the United States of America who is legally allowed to own and use firearms
- Current member in good standing of the National Rifle Association (join here)
- Not a member of an organization having as its purpose the overthrow by force and violence the government of the United States or any of its political subdivisions
- Eligibility requirements are never based on a person’s race, color, religion, sex or national origin, and no such discriminatory records are maintained by this club
- Apply to the Zia Membership Committee by completing a New Member Application (obtained on the main web site) and sending it in with your Orientation fee payment (check/money order/credit card)
- The Committee will verify you meet the eligibility requirements and assemble an applicant list based on an “earliest received” selection basis. When openings and orientation class size/dates are available, the earliest received applicants will be advised via email of documents required for membership into the Club. Instructions are included in the documents.
- A scheduled class can be adjusted once without losing preferential scheduling status.
- Satisfactorily attend Orientation Class as scheduled. The prospective member will receive required safety and operational training at the Orientation Class. A gate key and membership card will be issued per Zia procedures. This training will take approximately 3-4 hours.
