Zia Terms and Conditions

MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT

By clicking the checkbox below and purchasing or renewing my membership with Zia Rifle & Pistol Club (hereinafter “Zia”), I hereby knowingly and voluntarily certify that I:
  1. Have read and agree to comply with Zia’s Bylaws, Policies and Procedures, Code of Conduct, Safety Rules, Range Officer/Shooter Responsibilities and Procedures, and Ranges rules set forth in the Member Guidebook, and the section entitled My Commitment to Firearms Safety below;
  2. Understand that Zia activities primarily involve the use of firearms, which carries an inherent risk of bodily harm.
  3. Assume any and all risks arising from the use of firearms by myself or any another person while participating in Zia activities, expressly including any guest I may bring to Zia’s ranges, properties or facilities.
  4. Freely waive, disclaim, and completely release and otherwise hold harmless Zia from any and all claims, causes of action, damages, costs, expenses, obligations, or demands of any kind whatsoever that I, or my estate, may have against Zia and its officers, employees and volunteers arising from my, or my guest’s, participation in firearms activities at Zia.
  5. Am not prohibited by any Federal, State or Local law from possessing or using firearms, and will not bring as a guest to Zia facilities, or invite to participate in firearms activities at Zia, any person so prohibited.

MY COMMITMENT TO FIREARMS SAFETY

I acknowledge that I am familiar with the basic rules of firearm safety, that I have reread them below, and that those basic rules have been explained to me, if needed. I agree to follow all of the basic rules of firearm safety at all times during my use and handling of any firearms while present at Zia ranges, properties, or facilities, or participating in firearms activities at Zia.
  • Keep your firearm pointed in a safe direction.
  • Treat all firearms as if they were loaded.
  • Keep your trigger finger outside the guard and off the trigger until you are ready to fire.
  • Be certain of your target, aware of what’s between you and your target, and mindful of what lies around and beyond your target.
  • Always wear appropriate eye and ear protection when shooting or when in the company of others that may be shooting.

MEMBERSHIP PURCHASE AND RETURN POLICY

I acknowledge that membership purchases can be returned within a 7 day window of purchase. Memberships may be cancelled due to violation of rules, violation of gun safety protocol, or for other reasons.
